She disappeared in Portugal two weeks later.THE family of missing Madeleine McCann have been told that several suspects will be questioned about her disappearance.Madeleine, whose grandparents and many cousins are from Donegal, disappeared in May 2007 while on holiday with her family in Portugal.She had visited Donegal with her parents just a few weeks beforehand. The BBC says “several suspects” are likely to be questioned in the “very near future” by officers.UK police have already asked Portuguese authorities if they can speak to three people of interest, said the BBC.But the Portuguese now say more than three suspects will be interviewed by their officers.They also said all interviews would be conducted by Portuguese police. British police would be allowed to sit in during the questioning, but they would not be allowed to intervene at any stage, they said.
