first_imgYesterday, the official website of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar was hacked by a group of hackers who called themselves ‘All Pak Cyber Skullz Members’. The website was immediately blocked by the authorities after they found that anti-India slogans have been posted on the same.NIT Srinagar became a target perhaps for the fact that it had hit headlines after a clash between Kashmiri and non-Kashmiri students last year when the latter cheered India’s defeat in the T20 World Cup match against West Indies. The servers were downed after the attack.Outcome of Pakistan losing the match against IndiaImmediately after Pakistan lost the cricket match, hackers had taken over the website and posted hate messages — ‘Go Modi go’, ‘All we ask is for freedom, you can kill us, you can’t kill us all, we shall not give up’, ‘Free Kashmir.
