And as you’d expect, there’s a few surprises in there.Tackling the smartphone schedule first we can see that Dell has handsets called Venue, Venue Pro, Venue Pro MLK, Wrigley, Hancock, and Millennium. The image below shows you what each smartphone will offer along with its release window:Things don’t really get interesting until we reach September and Hancock. This is the first smartphone that lists Android Ice Cream as an OS. It’s coupled with some nice hardware too including a 4″ qHD display, dual-core processor, 8MP+ camera, and 1080p video recording. The image also shows a slide out keyboard.Hot on the heels of the Hancock in October is an even larger phone sporting a 4.3″ display again running Ice Cream and adding DLNA support. Not much else looks different from Hancock apart from the keyboard is gone.In the tablet category we are set to get larger Streaks, Rosemount, Sterling, Gallo, Opus One, Silver Oak, and Peju models. There’s fewer details here than on the smartphone roadmap:The Gallo is the Streak 10″ which arrives April using Honeycomb and then gets a handwriting update in October. Then in June Rosemount appears which is a 10″ Windows 7 tablet making for an interesting comparison with the Streak. Early 2012 we then see the Opes One and Silver Oak Android tablets and the Peju Windows 8 device. That’s going to be a CES you don’t want to miss.Read more at WPCentral and Android Central, via Engadgetlast_img
